An Ol’ Broad’s Ramblings

John Kerry is an ASS!

“I apologize to no one!”

His so called joke insulted our military, not the President as was his intent.

(imagine MANY four lettered words!)

See here, in HIS own words!

It’s Bush’s fault he’s an ASS? Give me a break!

Update: From a reader at Michelle Malkin..

Academic Education– 49.2 percent of officers have advanced or professional degrees; 39.4 percent have master’s degrees, 8.5 percent have professional degrees and 1.3 percent have doctorate degrees.

– 22.8 percent of company grade officers have advanced degrees; 16.5 percent have master’s degrees, 5.9 percent have professional degrees and 0.3 percent have doctorate degrees.

– 85.4 percent of field grade officers have advanced degrees; 70.7 percent have master’s degrees, 12.1 percent have professional degrees and 2.5 percent have doctorate degrees.

– 99.9 percent of the enlisted force have at least a high school education; 73.3 percent have some semester hours toward a college degree; 16.2 percent have an associate’s degree or equivalent semester hours; 4.7 percent have a bachelor’s degree; 0.7 percent have a master’s degree and .01 percent have a professional or doctorate degree.”

That comes from http://www.af.mil/news/story_print.asp?storyID=123027385 (about a third of the way down). I’m sure there’s better information out there. Also, while I was in the military, I remember reading a study showing that the education levels in the military FAR outstrip anything seen in the civilian world. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything like it in the short time I looked. I’d bet that if you contacted an official military liaison, they could give you good information instantly.

Update 2: Hot Air has lots of interesting stuff.

Update 3: More proof that John Kerry is an ass, and full of… well, you know! Thanks to Wordsmith from Sparks from the Anvil for sharing.

Update 4: Iowa candidate asks Kerry to cancel campaign visit More links at FullosseousFlap’s Dental Blog who has a cartoon I actually refrained from swiping.

  1. I have to admit this barb back and forth has been quite entertaining. And to be honest although I may not agree with everything Kerry is saying, I LOVE his passion. I really do. The right does have a tendency to attack ones patriotism if you say something taht is against the war or against the administration. And Kerry’s barb at Limbaugh was great, and in my opinion dead on. My brother is a high school dropout, yet I am proud of this decision he has made. There are some troops over there who are guilty of Kerry’s claim. But again making a generalization and masking it as a lame joke is a bad way to try and make a point.

  2. Gotta admit, that’s the most animated I’ve seen Kerry in a long time, I don’t think I’d call it “passion”. LOL Sorry!

President Bush doesn’t much care what Kerry or anyone else says about him. The insult, which is what it was, was definitely directed at the troops. Kerry, trying to “spin” his own words isn’t going to work this time.

I don’t question someone’s patriotism unless they prefer we don’t protect OUR country. Sometimes, I will question their sanity. LOL

  3. This is the same D’head that served in Vietnam, came back and called those who served there baby killers. He doesn’t like the military and he never has. To call it Republican rhetoric is a joke. He shows his true color and says something stupid (again) and blames it on the Republicans……Whatever. He’s an ass. If he wouldn’t have married a rich bitch ketchup queen, he’d be next to a nobody and if he was next to a nobody like me, I’d deck him…

  4. My husband said he heard Charlie Sykes say Kerry had both feet in his mouth this time… it gave me a mental image of said feed in mouth and head up hind end.

  5. Please make no apologies for the Kerry “ass” comment. As a former Marine, I concur. The man is an ass.

  6. If he won’t apologize to our military, then there’s NO way I’d even consider an apology for calling him an ass. :) However, with or without his most recent rant, he’s still an ass! :)

And, thank you, Sancho, for your service!!

  8. John Kerry is an ass. To insult the men and women that defend this country is absurd. His comments will have repercussions.

On an riddle me this, if his thesis is true and he was in the military, what does that say about him?

PS – nice looking blog, great improvement.

  10. I can’t even begin to verbalize just how angry I was (still am) when I was watching that scum sucker’s “news conference” today.

Thank you Mr. Tastic… I’m still learning this thingy. Can’t do some stuff I want to, but that’s ok, I’ll survive. :)

  11. He was telling COLLEGE KIDS this…of course we know what he meant.

And John Kerry doesn’t even have the decency to AT THE VERY LEAST say, “Y’know what? I can see how my wording was very bad and sounded horrible, and for THAT I do apologize.” Not that his shot was great to begin with, but he can kiss 2008 goodbye.

  12. Isn’t it bad enough that these kids parents are paying hard earned money sending their kids to college to get an education, yet they’re getting “indoctrinated” instead. Then they have people who are suppose to be respected (open for interpretation) leaders showing nothing but contempt for the very reason they are free to pursue a higher education. I’m just flabbergasted!
