The recent sweep into power of the Democrats tells me something…. people have forgotten 9/11. I find this extremely distressing. To believe that the Dems are going to keep our nation safe is the same as believing in the Tooth Fairy. Although, the Dems do seem to think they’ll be leaving quarters under our pillows. That’s about all they’ll be leaving…quarters in our pockets after they take away the tax cuts. Actually, more like pennies, since they’ll tax the quarters too.
In the war on terror, I have NO faith in the Dems to take a stand for anything other than “cut and run”.
Iraq Al Qaeda Chief Says Democrat Victory A Step In Right Direction
Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, also known as Abu Ayyub al-Masri, said in the recording posted on the Internet that the group has 12,000 armed fighters and 10,000 others waiting to be equipped to fight U.S. troops in Iraq.
“I swear by God we shall not rest from jihad until we … blow up the filthiest house known as the White House,” he said.
The enemies of the US may well be celebrating the Democrats victory, but I’m sure not.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Friday called U.S. President George W. Bush’s defeat in congressional elections a victory for Iran.
Way to go folks! Y’all just might have ended the U.S.A. as we know it.

Al Qaeda and the Dems are on the same page.
That’s a definite PR problem for the Dems.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I’ve yet to hear any type of plan from the Dems on how to handle Iraq. I suspect that they don’t have anything, but we’ll see.
But c’mon, should we really be saying “Al Qaeda and the Dems are on the same page”? That’s Michael Moore crap.

But Jayce, the ones doing the celebrating over the Dems win are the terrorists…what else would you call it?
Comment by olbroad — November 10, 2006 @ 5:45
Iran has joined in the celebration:

So just how long is it before America’s enemies saying the EXACT SAME THINGS as Democrats, wishing the Dems electoral success, etc., before it ceases to be a coincidence?

I celebrated some of the Dems wins. Does that make me a terrorist?
Comment by Sean — November 10, 2006 @ 9:17
Sean, I celebrated Joe Lieberman’s win, but then, he’s not a Dem anymore, so I guess that doesn’t count! LOL “Some wins” are one thing…depending on which wins you’re talking about.
Cal, it looks like al Reuters has pulled that particular story…were there pictures involved? LOL
Comment by olbroad — November 10, 2006 @ 10:04
Sean,
No, it simply means that terrorists want Dems in power, because their naivete (their best quality–don’t get me started on their bad ones!) benefits them. Stalin called the phenomenon “useful idiots,” people who unwittingly serve their enemies’ ends.
Didn’t see any pictures, no
