Who is the one person who has stood up for the interests of the people of the United States of America? Why, that would be John Bolton! How is he repaid for his dedication?
Bush Accepts Bolton’s U.N. Resignation
Unable to win Senate confirmation, U.N. Ambassador John Bolton will step down when his temporary appointment expires within weeks, the White House said Monday.
Bolton’s nomination has languished in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for more than a year, blocked by Democrats and several Republicans. Sen. Lincoln Chafee, a moderate Republican who lost in the midterm elections Nov. 7 that swept Democrats to power in both houses of Congress, was adamantly opposed to Bolton.
I’m absolutely thrilled Chafee got WHUPPED! However, with the Dems in “control”, and ignorance rampant, it doesn’t help!
We NEED a man like John Bolton at the UN…aka Useless Numnuts! I am just livid that those in power can’t see past their own personal agenda to at least make the effort to keep this nation safe from the oppression that’s become the UN. No doubt we’ll end up with some whining suck up.

Of course. The Dems likely want a clone of that icon of ambassadorship, Maddy Albright.

I wish President Bush would actually stand up to the Democrats… for once.

Ya know, he did his best to work with Dems when he first got into office, trying to be a “uniter”. He didn’t stand up to them after they started all their crap, why on earth would he start now? sigh… Sometimes, he’s a little TOO “lay back”. grrrrrrr
