Humans, not climate, killed prehistoric fauna
Australia’s giant prehistoric animals were killed off by humans, not climate change, new research indicates.
Ninety per cent of Australia’s so-called megafauna – prehistoric animals such as giant goannas, three-metre tall kangaroos and rhino-sized marsupials – died out within 20,000 years of human arrival.
If those giant marsupials had developed weapons to bring home lunch, then odds are, there wouldn’t be a lot of those evil humans running around. Not that I think man is the sole cause of their disappearance, but “survival” depends on who can do it best. This little spinning ball has been through numerous cycles, hot, cold, species developing and dying out, so is it any wonder that a few are being blamed on humans? You’ve got moonbats insisting that zero human population is the only way to “save the planet”. Give ‘em another doobie and put ‘em back in their holes, please!
Here’s a thought…perhaps those over-sized kangaroos had too much sex, reproduced too much, ate too much, stripped their territory of food, and died a natural death? What do I know… I’m just a hick from Podunk!
