The Families

May we never forget that supporting our troops also means supporting their families as well.

On Being a Soldier’s Family

It’s strange being the family of a Soldier during Global War on Terror. Everyday life goes on but knowing a family member is in harms way is always in our consciousness. In my case, my son is there and a moment of the day doesn’t go by that my heart doesn’t know that he is there.

Unless you have experienced the separation, it’s really hard to understand how the families feel about the separation.  Please go over to Blue Star Chronicles.  Beth, and all the mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and kids need our support too.

(Yes, I have experienced it.)
