Sadly, I wasn’t able to attend the convention this year (I did get quite a few boxes filled). WisPolitics.com and GOP3 have done an excellent job of keeping me informed throughout the day.
I find it interesting, and amusing, that Fred Thompson beat out Tommy (in his own state mind you) in the straw poll. 
That’s ‘cuz they saw Tommy debate.
