Iran’s Ahmadinejad: America’s New Pen Pal

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has followed up his 18-page letter to President George W. Bush earlier this year with a five-page missive to the American people.

In the earlier letter, which left the Bush White House shaking their heads with wonderment, the Iranian leader invited Bush to embrace Islam. That is a well-established Islamic tradition when dealing with an enemy just prior to war. If they refuse, then the Muslims are “justified” in destroying them.

So, Ahmabooboo wants to be our new best friend. Not gonna happen! His nice little “threats” do not impress me.

Students of recent Iranian history will recall that the “crime” most often used to justify a death sentence by Islamic Republic revolutionary courts during the early years of the revolution was “corruption on earth.” This was how the regime simply eliminated its opponents or those who rejected absolute clerical rule.

Real nice folks! You don’t agree with them, you get whacked by any means they can think of, including using “Allah”.

He even has some advice for the new Democrat majority in Congress: Bend to the Muslim agenda, or you will be tossed out of power.

Dump Bush, allow the Muslims to destroy Israel, and adopt Islam — or else you will be destroyed. This is Ahmadinejad’s message.

Ummmm…..not just no….but HELL NO!

Who Cares!

So, Barack Obama’s middle name is Hussein.  Does anyone really care?  I sure don’t!  But that bastion of tolerance Kos, seems to think that conservatives are going to make a big deal out of it.  I didn’t even know until I read it on his site, so I wonder who’s making it a big deal?  Hmmmm……

Oddly enough, the court actually listened to “the people”!

Transfer of Mt. Soledad land to feds to save war memorial constitutional, says CA Court of Appeal

SAN DIEGO — A California appeals court today reversed a lower court decision that had determined that the transfer of the Mt. Soledad National War Memorial to the federal government was unconstitutional.

“The people spoke on this issue, and now the court has upheld their right to preserve the Mt. Soledad National War Memorial, which honors those who sacrificed themselves for our freedom,” said Alliance Defense Fund Litigation Counsel Tim Chandler. “Removal of the cross at Mt. Soledad would have no purpose other than to create heartache for the veterans’ families and comrades who cherish their memory. We, like them, are pleased with the court’s ruling.”

Those who obsess with the idea of “separation of church and state” really need to step back, and actually READ the First Amendment. No where in the Constitution is that phrase EVER used.

In 2005, 76 percent of San Diegans voted to preserve the Mount Soledad Memorial by transferring it from city property to the ownership of the National Park Service. The transfer was held up in litigation, but Congress passed and President Bush signed legislation to enact the transfer.

For those who believe this is a democracy so the majority rules, and I’d say that 76% is a MAJORITY. 🙂

Conservative Students to Display “ACLU Nativity Scene”

AUSTIN, TX – The Young Conservatives of Texas – University of Texas Chapter announced today that they will be displaying an “ACLU Nativity Scene” on the West Mall of the University of Texas campus on Monday and Tuesday, December 4th and 5th. The group’s intent is to raise awareness on the extremity of the ACLU, and bring to light its secular-progressive efforts to remove Christmas from the public sphere. The display, the first of its kind in the nation, will feature characters that are quite a bit different than the standard crèche.

“We’ve got Gary and Joseph instead of Mary and Joseph in order to symbolize ACLU support for homosexual marriage, and of course there isn’t a Jesus in the manger,” said Chairman Tony McDonald. “The three Wise Men are Lenin, Marx, and Stalin because the founders of the ACLU were strident supporters of Soviet style Communism. The whole scene is a tongue-in-cheek way of showing the many ways that the ACLU and the far left are out of touch with the values of mainstream America.”

The scene will also display a terrorist shepherd and an angel in the form of Nancy Pelosi.

“The ACLU and other left-wing extremist groups are working diligently to destroy American’s rights to the free expression of religion,” said Executive Director Joseph Wyly. “We’ve already seen in Chicago an attempt to censor the nativity by a city government this week. It’s just more evidence that there is a War on Christmas being waged by the far-left in this country.”

Young Conservatives of Texas, a non-partisan conservative youth organization, has been fighting for conservative values for more than a quarter century in the Lone Star State and publishes the most respected ratings of the Texas Legislature. YCT has chapters at universities across Texas including Texas A&M University, West Texas A&M University, Baylor University, University of Texas at Austin, Southern Methodist University, Midwestern University, Texas State University, University of Texas San Antonio, University of North Texas, Hardin-Simmons University, Texas Tech University, and Stephen F. Austin University.

I really wish they had a picture! I’d love to see how it comes out. 🙂

(sing song…) Ya missed me, ya missed me….now ya gotta …. well, you know! But with the way my luck has been going, Dodge and Fond du Lac counties will get much worse than what they seem to be “predicting. Oh joy! Or maybe not. 🙂

An Email

I got this in a email this morning:

In any war if the Gi’s hands are tied we must seriously think about pulling out. 1965 Viet Nam BB stands for Before Bullets were given to our soldiers to fight back. What my country did to many of my friends was horrendous. Sending our military into a foreign country unarmed. In a state of denial we are doing the very same thing in Iraq. Only the BB stands for hogtying the Gi’s by sending them into buildings where hostile fire has been coming out of, only if they just happen to kill one of the innocent Civilians we prosecute them. A simple solution to such a problem lies in a 500 pound bomb, if they fire upon us, drop a sledge hammer.

The Anti war bunch of the Liberal side of Government places so many restrictions that frankly we must think about the 19 year olds being sent into harms way with both hands tied behind their backs. The solution to this problem would be simple, as I did with Engineers who designed crap, I sent them into the actual field and tried to make their garbage they designed work. We should insist that our Congressmen and Senators do a tour of duty in the field and then see just how fast the restraints are removed.

It does make some sense. Thanks Ed.

An ACLU Christmas

I’m sure by now, we’ve all gotten those emails, encouraging us to send the ACLU a Christmas card.  I’m not going to do it, although, I do enjoy annoying people, it, unfortunately, wouldn’t annoy the RIGHT people…just the folks in the mail room.  A better idea?  Send that card to a soldier in the hospital!  He, or she, would appreciate it a whole lot more than those anti Christmas Commies at the ACLU!

For more ideas, go to Stop the ACLU!  Jay enjoys slappin’ ’em down just as much, if not more, than I do.  🙂
