  1. Leaving out a few details that probably won’t happen (no way Newsom is VP), the general premise is still very scary. And very accurate. This “non-binding resolution” is just a way to tell the terrorists that Osama bin Laden was right. Hit us hard enough we leave. Personally, he is not someone I want to prove right. I prefer that the people who believe in this country — despite its flaws — be right, not someone who wants to destroy us for not putting him in charge.

  3. The December 7 date because of the anniversary is also absurd. Al Qaueda does not do things on anniversaries. They know people are looking for attacks on those dates, so they avoid them. Now, the reasoning of ruining the holiday season and the weather predictions would be good reasons. But, they would do it December 10 or something like that.
