Prince Charles today said banning McDonald’s fast food was the key to a healthy lifestyle.
Charles, a strong advocate of organic food, was touring the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre in Abu Dhabi with the Duchess of Cornwall.
I don’t suppose the Queen will bypass this bozo for Prince William, would she? Who knew the next in line for the Crown was a moonbat? sigh… The key to a healthy lifestyle is personal control. That does NOT mean governmental control. Chucky needs to take the horsey woman, and retire to whatever castle is farthest away from the seat of gubmint.
Governors are facing up to some harsh realities: Their states’ school children aren’t ready for the 21st century, their workers aren’t trained for the new jobs created every day, and their businesses aren’t competing as strongly as they must to keep ahead.
Perhaps if people didn’t try to put kids in a bloomin’ plastic bubble, let them experience the real world, lose the touchy feely nonsense, and EXPECT the best from them, then perhaps they’d be better prepared? Just a thought.
Democratic political strategist James Carville says Al Gore will run for president in 2008, but he fell short of offering his endorsement of that possible campaign.
Gag! Let him stay with his Hollyweird buds, and leave us poor real people alone!
Swedes smoke less than they used to, but the proportion of heavy smokers is increasing. They are also drinking more, with 8 percent of women and 15 percent of men reported to be heavy drinkers.
I’d much rather have smokers behind the wheel of a car than drinkers. I wonder if Wisconsinites will drink more if they can’t smoke, or is that even possible. 🙂

Cuban leader Fidel Castro called in to Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez’s radio talk show on Tuesday, declaring he’s “more energetic, stronger” and his country is running smoothly without him at the helm.
Unlike the left, I don’t wish for someone’s death (unless it’s a child predator or some such), but I honestly wish this guy would just go away!
Here are some views of Mitt Romney causing concern inside his campaign: His hair looks too perfect, he’s not a tough war time leader, and he has earned a reputation as “Slick Dancing Mitt” or “Flip-Flop Mitt.”
His hair looks too perfect? (snicker) Of all the things to worry about, his hair shouldn’t even be on the list.
The opening stages of the campaign for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination have produced a noticeable shift in sentiment among African American voters, who little more than a month ago heavily supported Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton but now favor the candidacy of Sen. Barack Obama.
Just goes to show….ya can’t fool all of the people all of the time!
