Get Carbon Neutral!

Filed under: Chuckles, Cow pies, Moonbats & Other Animals — olbroad @ 10:01

It seems to me that some people have lost their tiny little minds! I’m all for entrepenurial enterprises, but this one takes the cake. An Australian company can now make you, your dog, and even your cat, “carbon neutral”.

Green answer blowing in the wind

IF you own a cat, you know the smelly truth: they break wind and it’s foul. Not only that, it harms the planet.

All forms of flatulence – from cats, dogs, even from Dad – contain methane, a greenhouse gas thought to contribute to climate change.

If you’ve been feeling guilty about it, help is at hand. For just $8, a Sydney-based company, Easy Being Green, can now make your cat carbon-neutral, so it can “live guilt-free for a year”.

Make no mistake, the cat will still smell, and its emissions will still contain methane, but Easy Being Green vows to spend the $8 you give them on products, such as energy saving light bulbs and water-saving shower heads, that reduce emissions elsewhere (if not in your own backyard).

When I read about this one at Joe’s Place, I nearly fell off my chair! I had to hunt down the story. Now, I don’t know about your cat, but our cats don’t seem to suffer from flatulence guilt. I wouldn’t swear to it, but odds are that company is using that $8 ($6.27 U.S.) to pay for their own flatulence emissions. Aka BULLSH*T.

And, on that happy note, I’m hopping into my CO2 creating PT, heading north, to my flatulence emitting felines and the man of the house.

  1. You know I am still not quite convinced about global warming. However, being a good capitalist with a lot of student loans to pay, if someone wants to buy my excess carbon credits, I am selling. Unlike that hypocrite Algore, I actually do conserve energy (but I don’t crow about it — again unlike Algore) so I got carbon credits to spare.

  2. It seems like everyone that has read that story has had the same reaction.

Personally, I think that this Australian company was started to take advantage of gullible greenies.

    More power to ’em.

  3. Ro….do you have a cat? 🙂

Joe, I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard in a long time. Total insanity! LOL
