An Ol’ Broad’s Ramblings

Anger, Mixed with Hunger

Filed under: Cow pies — olbroad @ 8:45

If you ever find yourself in Ruston, Louisiana, do NOT, under any circumstances, order a pizza from Domino’s.  Incompetence is an understatement!

Normally, I wouldn’t have ordered a pizza.  I try to stay away from them actually, but there was no where close to grab something, so I picked up the phone and ordered the smallest veggie they had…with extra cheese of course.  The kid brings the pizza, I give the guy a 20, he leaves.  I look at said pizza, take a bite to find NO cheese.  Or not enough to even taste.  I call them back, explain the problem.  The man says we’ll send out another one, and after some consultation with someone, says “No extra charge.”  I should bloody well hope not!  I’ve already paid for what I ordered, didn’t get it, and am sure NOT going to pay for another one.

After an hour, I call them back, politely, yet firmly, asking where is my pizza.  I’m told the kid is on the way.  A further 40 minutes later, patience is gone and hunger is raging.  I call them and demand my money back.  The guy was actually surprised!

It only took them 5 minutes to return my money, less the tip.

Nearly 3 hours after my first phone call, I am eating a cold, nasty, cheeseless pizza.

  3. Real customer service seems to be a thing of the past. Sad.

  4. Unfortunately, you are right. That’s why I’ve been so amazed at the customer service I’ve gotten in Tennessee. It’s such a pleasant surprise! 🙂
