Snow falls on Nashville

Swap your Easter bonnet for a parka. There’s snow falling on Nashville.

Tennessee is already headed for one of the coldest Easter weekends on record. Now, residents are reporting flurries around Vanderbilt, Hillsboro Village and Bellevue.

The only good news is that it’s not going to accumulate.

“No, no. That would be the final slap in the face,” said meteorologist Mark Rose of the National Weather Service.

If you think it’s cold now, just wait. The coldest April temperature ever reported in Nashville was 23 degrees. Tonight, the forecast calls for a low of 22.

The coldest Easter in history was a chilly 24 degrees on March 24, 1940. The National Weather Service is predicting a low of 24 degrees early Sunday morning.

I wonder if it’s snowing on algore’s oversized cottage.
