An Ol’ Broad’s Ramblings

Interesting Experience!

I am now a bona fide resident of Tennessee!  Car tags, driver’s license and registered to vote!  🙂  If only it was that difficult to get all that in ALL states, including Wisconsin!  I had to show my WI license, my passport (they wouldn’t accepted a certified copy of my birth certificate….had to be the original), 2 utility type bills AND give ’em my SS number.  I was also able to register to vote and was told my VOTER REGISTRATION CARD would be sent in 3 weeks.  I would HAVE to show the card in order to vote, LEGALLY.  I told them it might be a hassle, but I appreciated the effort they were making.  The lady said it was suppose to be that way in every single state since 9/11.  Odd.  I don’t think it’s that involved in Wisconsin, is it?  Hmmm……

I’ve got my new Tennessee cell phone number, and I even found a gun dealer that can get me that gun I want, plus a well recommended fella who can teach me how to use it.  🙂  That gun shop was a fun time!  Did you know they call veggie type burgers ‘slug’ burgers?  I have no idea why, and neither did they.  Still sounds nasty, whatever ya call ’em.  I’ll take good ol’ fashioned MEAT anytime over some fru fru nonsense.

  1. Now you need to get over to Cooksville for that Fred Rally this Saturday 🙂

  2. Hmmmmm….. I had forgotten about that. It’s about a 4 hour drive. I’m going to have to seriously think about this. 🙂
