Former Justice Dept. Official Praises Fired U.S. Attorneys

James B. Comey, the Justice Department’s second-in-command from 2003 until August 2005, also told a House Judiciary subcommittee that he was never informed about an effort by Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales and his aides to remove a large group of prosecutors that began in early 2005.

Since when is 8 a “large group”? And just why do they keep beating this horse? It’s a NON issue! That horse is dead. Bury it!

Gun Laws Expanded for Self-Defense

Currently, Tennesseans can use deadly force when faced with a threat of death or serious injury in their own homes. The bill approved by the Senate Thursday and by the House last week extends those areas to include all homes and vehicles, regardless of who owns them.

Bless their hearts! They get it! Are you listening Diamond Jim???

The Green Bay City Council’s consideration of changes to its licensing codes to try to deal with illegal immigration is drawing fire from Latino, religious and legal groups.

Legal groups? Legal? It’s been an ILLEGAL invasion, but cities aren’t suppose to address the problem? Give me a bloomin’ break!

Rep. Clay co-sponsors bill to impeach Cheney

Historic meeting with Rice ends Syria’s diplomatic isolation

I wonder if that’s such a great idea. Honestly, I’m not sure.

‘Those who failed can’t fix mistakes’

Likud Chairman Binyamin Netanyahu on Thursday called for a new leadership that would restore the public’s trust in the government, declaring that those who failed at running the country during the Second Lebanon War could not fix the mistakes they themselves had made.

When is the next Israeli election? I’m afraid the divisions in Israel are going to weaken them, as they have done in our country.

Student accused of exposing self

Two girls, ages 15 and 16, told a school resource officer the boy exposed himself to them numerous times between April 23 and April 27 and performed a sexual act on himself in a classroom.

Criminy!

Cops say human skull collection is OK

Grand-Central Area detectives confiscated the skulls. But investigators later determined that although they were human, there was nothing illegal about possessing the skulls, which were about 70 to 80 years old, Lt. Mark Hawkins said. There was no sign of trauma, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

I don’t even want to know why anyone would collect human skulls.
