Another Farewell

This terrific lady was like Mr. Ol’ Broad’s second mom.  He’s holding up fairly well.  I think I am too.

Gwen De Graff, 74, formerly of Waupun, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, in Fayetteville, Ark., where she had been residing while living near family.

Gwen was born on May 31, 1932, in Wautoma, the daughter of Sylvester and Bernice Campbell Leipzig.

On October 28, 1950, she married Anthony (Tony) De Graff. The couple lived in Wisconsin Rapids, Baraboo, and Columbus before settling in Waupun, where they resided for most of their married life.

Gwen worked as a legal secretary for the former Wagner & Wagner Law Office in Waupun. She was a charter member of the Emmanuel Reformed Church of Waupun.

Gwen is survived by her daughter, Denise De Graff of Fayetteville, Ark.; her sons, Luke (Katrina) De Graff of Fayetteville, Ark., and Mark (Diana) De Graff of Panama City, Fla.; her four grandchildren, Alycia, Zachery, Gavin and Kaitlyn; and one brother, Jack (Nancy) Leipzig of Lawrence, Kan.

# Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 7, 2007, at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with the Rev. Philip Rauerdink officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.

# Visitation: Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to the time of service on Monday, May 7, 2007, at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun.

Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home of Waupun and staff are serving the family.
