An Ol’ Broad’s Ramblings

I have to ask!  Why is when I hear news about Wisconsin, it usually puts the state in a bad light?  Just within 15 minutes, I heard the story about the moron who wanted to rob his parents bar and the gas station that was giving discounts to seniors.  I know there are some sane people in this state, who actually do good things.  Why is it THAT never makes the national news?

  1. I assume you are mad that the state is stopping that nice gas station manager from pricing his gas any way he wants. As long as taxes are properly paid, he should be able to set any price he wants. It’s called competition. The law setting the price at a certain percentage is price-fixing and is wrong.

  2. Wisconsin doesn’t believe in competition. :/ The feel good “minimum mark up law” was suppose to help the mom and pop places, but all it does is screw over the consumer.
