BRITNEY HAS TARMAC TANTRUM, STOPS FLIGHT

Flameout popster Britney Spears flipped again – ranting about the lack of leather seats on her United Airlines flight from L.A. to Miami Friday night, and demanding to be let off minutes before takeoff . “She just said, ‘I don’t want to fly on this plane. It hasn’t got leather seats,’ ” passenger Tony Sanchez told Splash News. The captain accommodated, later apologizing to passengers. “He said a passenger wanted to get off so he had to respect their wishes. He didn’t say it was Britney Spears.” Sanchez said. “Some people were getting really annoyed.” Spears’ flacks didn’t return calls. The star was due to perform at the House of Blues in Orlando last night, and in South Beach today.

Does anyone really care what that little hootchie mama does? Good grief! What a waste of space.

Clashes in Lebanon leave at least 48 dead

Lebanese troops battled Islamist militants based in a Palestinian refugee camp today and 48 people were killed in Lebanon’s bloodiest internal fighting since the 1975-90 civil war.

I don’t much care for killing, but I have to say, if they consider 48 dead “the bloodiest internal fighting”, then they should go to Milwaukee on the weekends.

White House Hits Back at Carter Remarks

In a biting rebuke, the White House on Sunday dismissed former President Jimmy Carter as “increasingly irrelevant” after his harsh criticism of President Bush.

I’ve thought Carter was irrelevant for a long….LONG….time, like since he was actually the occupant of the White House. 🙂

Sudan, China plans to open Khartoum-Beijing direct flights

Sudan and China are planning to open direct flights between Beijing and Khartoum to strengthen the fast-growing economic and commercial relations between the two countries

Mirghani Mohamed Salih, Sudan’s ambassador to China, said that direct flights will run between the two capitals this year under the recent agreement signed between the Sudanese Civil Aviation Authority and its Chinese counterpart on air transport services.

Well, sure! Wouldn’t you want to vacation in the Sudan? :/

Army’s appeals court postpones second trial of Fort Lewis officer

The decision Friday by the Army Court of Criminal Appeals in Arlington, Va., means the July 23 court-martial for 1st Lt. Ehren Watada could be on hold until the court reviews arguments from both sides.

Horse hockey! Yes, I do believe the law should be upheld, but this guy broke his oath, and that just won’t do.

Dallas to host peace forum
Conference aims to help women defuse conflicts worldwide

“Our mission is to provide a safe haven for women from countries all over the world to meet, confer and formulate an action plan for world peace,” said Carol Crabtree Donovan, conference chairwoman. “The purpose of the conference is to empower peacemakers by teaching peace skills, such as mediation, negotiation and communication.”

I wonder if they’ll be discussing how women are treated in Muslim countries? If not, then they are a total sham!

Texas Woman Blames Devil After Husband Burns Baby Daughter in Microwave

A woman blames the devil and not her husband for severely burning their infant daughter after the 2-month-old was put in a microwave, a Houston television station reported.

Eva Marie Mauldin said Satan compelled her 19-year-old husband, Joshua Royce Mauldin, to microwave their daughter May 10 because the devil disapproved of Joshua’s efforts to become a preacher.

The devil might well have had a hand in this poor child’s injuries, but it was her husband who did the deed.  What a sick bastard!

  1. If I could get within striking distance of this piece of shit I would kick her until her uterus ruptured, for standing by the maggot that harmed her child
