ABC: Rosie O’Donnell Won’t Be Back on ‘The View’

Rosie O’Donnell will not be back on “The View,” ABC announced Friday, two days after she and co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck got into a huge political dust-up live on the talk show.

Well, here’s a great big whup de do and WHO CARES!

UN moves on Lebanon court proceed despite Russia

Western powers formally put their plan for a court to prosecute the murder of a former Lebanese prime minister before the UN Security Council on Friday, but Russia raised objections to its compulsory nature.

I wonder if Russia has something to worry about. Hmmmm…..

Doctors Deliver Baby on Delta Flight

Delta Flight 131 to Atlanta was over the Washington area when a woman about 32 to 36 weeks—or nine months—pregnant went into labor Wednesday afternoon, prompting an emergency stop in Charlotte, N.C., about nine hours into the flight.

One: I’m glad the baby is going to be ok. Two: What do they put on his birth certificate for “Place of Birth”? Three: How can any woman be such a doofus as to get on a plane when it’s so obvious delivery could be imminent? :/

High gas forces some to curb summer plans

“They have four-wheelers and dirt bikes, and I can’t afford to buy all the gas for them,” said McCullar, 34, while searching for a job at a recent Career Fair. “It’s going to be hard to let them be kids, and it’s summer, and it’s going to make it worse.”

Yet she can afford to buy them such expensive “toys”? Gee wilakers, I don’t know how I survived my childhood without motorized transportation!

Goodwill worker gets to keep $5,000 found in donated pajamas

Kelli Owens, a 21-year-old single mother of three, was sorting donated clothes as part of her training at Goodwill earlier this month when she found the money. She took it straight to her supervisor.

Good for her, but I gotta ask…..a 21 year old…..with THREE kids? Criminy, wonder if she knows what’s causing ’em?

Nine years for Vail eco-terrorist

Chelsea Gerlach, who joined the radical-environmental movement as a teenager, was sentenced today in Oregon to nine years in prison for her prominent role in torching a Vail ski lodge in 1998 and five other so-called “eco-terror” attacks.

I’ll never understand people who think that burning anything down, whether it’s buildings or SUVs, is a good idea. How does torching anything protect the environment?

Air Force officials distance selves from holiday event held by evangelical group

Air Force officials are distancing themselves from a Georgia Memorial Day event sponsored by an evangelical group whose mission is to spread Christianity through the military.

Personal opinion: Not a real smart move on the part of the AF. Our military has no greater supporters than the majority of evangelical Christians.

Senate Moves to Expand Detainee Rights

Senate Democrats are backing a bill that would grant new rights to terror suspects held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, including access to a lawyer regardless of whether the prisoners are put on trial.

Why not just invite ’em over to Sunday dinner? Any other country would have executed the majority of them by now, yet our Dhimmis want to place nice with animals that would just as soon slit their throats.

  1. What I wanna is know is how is a flight from Atlanta to Washington, only over North Carolina after 9 hours? Hopefully that is a typo and not an incredibly delayed flight.

  3. Oh whew, that makes muuuuuch more sense. I knew flight delays were bad, but I did think that a tad ridiculous. Of course, heaven forbid professional writers (journalists) write clearly. Not your fault the article was worded badly.
