  1. NICE! I’ll wager that (a) that isn’t in Wisconsin, (b) taxes are half of what they would be here, and (c) the price is somewhere around half of what it would be here.

  2. A) Ya got that right!
    B) More like a quarter of what they are here.
    C) With 3+ acres of land, you got it!

    🙂

Key words…TAX HELL! LOL Not to mention this ol’ Texan doesn’t do well in the cold.

Not to worry. I won’t be quitting any time soon. 🙂 That’s the beauty of today’s technology…you can take it with ya! 🙂 Besides, it’ll be a few months before we’ll be 100% transplanted.

  8. OMG. You’re LEAVING?!?!?!?!? Aw man.

Your new home is lovely. Can we come visit? (The four kids are pretty quiet and RARELY break important objects.)

  10. I like the kitchen… and the tax bill.

That backyard looks like it needs a workstation for a smoker…

  11. Wendy….4 of ’em eh? Hmmm… we will have an extremely LARGE detached work shop. LMAO But didn’t I read somewhere there be a fifth sometime? 🙂

James, odds are will get to DC a little more frequently now. My sister is still in the area.

Clint, I was thinking the same thing when I first saw that dual type deck! LOL

  14. […] Ol Broad is headed for Tennessee, land of no state income tax and property taxes under $1000. Saturday, it’s supposed to be 72° in Nashville and I happen to know she’ll be even further south than that. The rest of us will just stay here and pay more. Geh. […]

  15. You’ll miss the way the slush turns such a festive brown in the Spring here. You’ll be living in the state that Al Gore calls home. See if you can find the money that went for Reggie White’s church.
